New Scuba Album Creeps Closer to Release Date

Scuba’s much-anticipated third album ‘Personality’ is now less than one month away from hitting record stores. The follow-up to the 2010 released ‘Triangulations’ is set to drop on the 27^th of February, finding its way into your ears through Scuba’s very own Hot Flush label.

Scuba precedes the release of one of 2012’s most eagerly awaited long-players by sliding out ‘The Hope’, the first EP to come from the album. This fine slab of lop-sided bass driven house/techno is topped off with an eerily spoken vocal and backed up on the B-side with the equally impressive yet more four the floor beats of ‘Flash Addict’, an exclusive and hi-octane cut that somehow doesn’t feature on the album. If this EP is anything to go by, ‘Personality’ will go down as some of Scuba’s finest work to date.

2011 was a massive year for Scuba – his 32 track DJ-Kicks mix went down as one of the best in the entire history of the much-lauded compilation series, and both ‘Adrenalin’ and ‘Loss’ (under his SCB moniker) featured in the RA tracks of the year poll, winging their way in at #7 and #19 respectively.
